Do you have a pronunciation warm-up?
Let me ask you a question. If you had to learn how to ride a bike just from reading a book about it, would you do it? I bet your answer is no right now. And it makes sense. If you really want to learn how to ride a bike, the best way to get better at it is to do it. The more you practice, the easier and faster it will be for your body to remember how to do it.
Pronunciation works exactly the same way. In order to pronounce words, we use our articulators, such as tongue, lips, mouth, etc. Therefore, the best way to make sure your pronunciation is accurate, is to train your speech organs. And the most important organ you should train is your tongue, because it's the main and most important muscle in your oral cavity.
In this pronunciation video lesson, I give you 6 tongue warm-up exercises that you can use every time that you have to use English in public. And for even better and permanent results, I would do these exercises on a regular basis to strengthen your tongue.
These exercises will help you loosen up your tongue and you will be able to produce sounds without investing so much effort when you speak English.
I hope you enjoy the lesson. And if you want to know how to work with me, check out my website to learn more about my services for professionals and advanced English speakers in the US.
